Astrid Hoppenbrouwers – Horses in Hands

For horses that need recovery, have physical blockages, or struggle with behavior stemming from imbalance.
Astrid Hoppenbrouwers is the driving force behind Horses in Hands. From her rehabilitation and training center in Hazerswoude-Dorp, she guides both horses and riders toward sustainable recovery. Astrid is an ORUN Freestyle and TAKT instructor, behavior specialist, and therapist. Her approach is holistic, evidence-based, and always tailored to the individual combination.
She works with horses showing physical issues, tension, or behavioral problems, helping them return to balance through targeted therapy, training, and guidance. In addition to her expertise in behavior, massage, osteopathy, and aqua training, she also uses Nano CellCare to support the recovery process at the cellular level.
You can turn to Astrid for:
• Rehabilitation after injuries or overstrain
• Support with tendon, muscle, or respiratory issues
• Horses with stress, behavioral problems, or trauma
• Training in biomechanically correct movement
• Guidance for riders seeking harmony and balance

“My goal is always sustainable recovery. Not quick fixes, but working together toward a strong, relaxed, and happy horse and that in connection with its rider.”
