Esmee shares the story of her horse Willem, a 13-year-old gelding. What started as an accident in the stable turned into a serious recovery journey.
“All of a sudden, both his legs were swollen. On his right hind leg, he had a wound and a tendon injury from getting trapped in his stall. The vet performed an ultrasound to assess the damage. We saw swelling around the tendon, and on the scan there was clearly a black hole in the tendon tissue.”

Initial Treatments Without the Desired Result
