Virne has owned her Palomino Quarter Horse, Sterre, for over ten years and competed with her at M-level. But one simple trail ride changed everything.
“I was out riding and suddenly noticed she became very lame. That’s when the whole process with the vet began.”

The diagnosis was tough: arthritis in her front legs and mild navicular disease.
“It was basically a set of issues that wasn’t good at all. The advice was to stop riding her. It was simply over.”

Now, not only can I ride her again—against all expectations—but I can ride her lightly and responsively, with just two fingers. Physically, she has improved enormously. She looks so much better and has developed a lot of muscle, especially in her shoulders, something I could never achieve before. Her neck is also starting to grow, and her muscles are forming in the right places.”
